“I’m really excited. It’s a privilege to be taking on this role. I’d like to thank Dan Goffin, Declan Rudd, and Daniel Arpels for the opportunity. I understand the magnitude of the role and having to be that person to lead the academy, but there is an incredible group of staff here who will support myself and the academy, in order to ensure it can be as successful as possible,” said Good.
“I’ve worked in both professional football and semi professional club environments across multiple roles as have many of our coaching team and our richness of experiences will help us to continue to provide one of the best football development pathways in the local area"
Having worked with Garth for many years, Director of Football, Dan Goffin was keen to secure his services on a full-time basis, “As soon as I became aware of Garth’s availability, I spoke with the board of directors and it was unanimously agreed that he was exactly the type of character we wanted to lead our programme. His passion and commitment to youth development matches that of mine and together, we know we can continue to build on the successes of previous seasons and continue to provide some of the very best experiences to local players”.
Garth will undertake a transition period alongside Dan before taking full control of the day to day operations in time for the start of the 23/24 season.
Everyone here at FFE would like to congratulate Garth and look forward to what the future holds.
